We've been on your side of the funding call.
FundingForSellers was started by people who have sold on marketplaces, wired supplier deposits at 2am to catch a production slot, and taken the calls from lenders who clearly had never heard of a payout reserve. This is the platform we needed then.
Good businesses take bad money all the time
Ecommerce created a generation of real businesses (seven-figure operations with inventory, employees, and hard-won brand equity) that traditional lending still doesn't know how to read. Into that gap poured the worst capital in finance: merchant cash advances dressed up as “revenue products,” brokered by whoever answered the phone first.
The tragedy isn't that funding is unavailable. It's that the right funding exists (inventory facilities, PO financing, honest revenue-based structures) and sellers sign the wrong thing because nobody mapped the landscape for them. That map is the product.
- Commerce-native, or nothing. Every lender on the panel is vetted for whether they genuinely understand marketplace and DTC economics, not just whether they pay referral fees.
- The honest no. When the right answer is 'don't borrow' or 'not yet,' we say it. Short-term that costs us a fee. Long-term it's the entire brand.
- No MCAs, structurally. Not a policy we could quietly change: a filter built into who we partner with. No lender who leads with MCAs gets on the panel at all.
- Your data, your call. Profiles are shared with lenders only on your explicit approval, one lender at a time. Revocable, logged, no exceptions.
Operators and underwriters, deliberately unnamed
Our team spans ecommerce operations and commercial credit: people who have run marketplace P&Ls and people who have underwritten them. We keep individual names off the site for a simple reason: we broker relationships between sellers and lenders, and nobody here should ever appear to have a personal stake in which side wins. The work should speak; the inbox is open.
